American Contemporary
Drifters Bar & Grille – $$ In Ft. Pierre next to the bridge. Contemporary American style foods. Nice bar
Chinese
Wonderful House – $ Downtown on Pierre st.
Do not try the China Super Buffet near McDonalds. Low quality, bland food.
Italian –
La Minestra $$$ Award winning local restaurant. Best restaurant in town.
Red Rosa Italian Grille $$ Good basic chain food. Nice bar.
Mexican –
Gallos Mexican Restaurant – $$ Authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex
Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant – $$ Good Tex-Mex regional chain.
Steak –
Cattleman’s Club – $$
Mad Mary’s steakhouse – $$
They have a nice 1/2 pound beef burger. I recommend ordering it with the deluxe fixings & bacon and a side of steak fries. Both have excellent steaks though I (Ealdred) give the nod to Cattleman’s. Expect both to be busy on a Saturday night
Sushi –
Tokyo Sushi – $$ Good sushi selection and prices. In the Mall

In Ft. Pierre there is a Perkins and a Pizza Ranch near the bridge
In Pierre there are a number fast food places on on the main street as you cross the bridge and continue on. McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Arbys, Hardees, and Burger King in order.

Governor’s Inn – Good locally owned. Tend to be lower prices.
Fort Pierre Motel – Not in the linked list because they aren’t part of the Chamber of Commerce. Locally owned, basic, clean rooms. Usually caters to hunters and fishermen. Here is their link – http://fort-pierre-motel.edan.io/
